Cheddar Brats & Peppers

Easy, simple and very delicious - this summer themed, brat packed-meal is full of flavor and easy to make. Take it to the next level by adding rice!

  • 16 oz cheddar brats sliced into 1/2 thick pieces
  • 3 colored bell peppers diced into 1/2 -1 inch pieces
  • 1 red onion diced into 1/2-1 inch pieces
  • 1 zucchini diced into 1/2 - 1 inch pieces
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper


  • Preheat the oven to 400°
  • Prep all ingredients and mix into a bowl. Check the notes if you would like to use grilled brats.
  • Place all ingredients on a sheet pan and bake for 15-20 minutes - until the vegetables and brats are beginning to brown.
  • Plate up the ingredients and enjoy!


I prefer to make this recipe with grilled brats - so we typically grill the brats on medium heat (roughly 400 degrees) for about 8 minutes while the vegetables are cooking in the oven. 
We also love to enjoy this recipe mixed with rice. We cook 1 cup whole grain quick rice with 2 cups of chicken stock per the manufacturer's instructions.
